A creative, strategic and commercially successful design director with extensive experience in all sectors of the industry, working on in-house labels across Menswear, Womenswear and retail store design. I also have developed strong network with a diverse range of Brands, Manufacturers and Mills in the UK and internationally, as well as developed strong relationships with the national press and fashion media.
I have directed design teams for Marks and Spencer, Next and Moss and delivered design concepts and collections that have been commercially successful by increasing market share and profitability, as well as improving the credibility and perception of the brands with the customers and press. As Creative director at Moss plc I also developed professional relationships with leading European luxury Brands Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabanna, Canali, Ermengildo Zegna & Canali
I strongly believe in a collaborative approach to "share the vision" working directly with Mills, Manufacturers, Designers, Stylists, models and photographers to define the product and final presentation of the vision. My collaborations include Richard James on Savile Row Tailored collections, working with male supermodel David Gandy on Men's underwear collection,and Luke Day Fashion Director of GQ on photoshoots and fashion press presentations. I have also have worked with the British Fashion Council producing the "Best of British" collections for M&S which were presented at London Fashion Week events with critical acclaim from the fashion press.
