TREND FORECAST & DESIGN CONCEPT

  • Deliver bespoke, exclusive new design direction for brand that is relevant, focussed and business aligned to deliver unique USP.
  • Create design direction with relevant information on trend/fabric/colour for the season using multi media - digital imagery, prototype samples, colour palettes and fabrication innovations.
  • Develop prescriptive list of identified product to be developed that translates the new design concept.
  • Produce design direction and designs to meet business deadlines and meet critical path.
  • Present concepts "in season" to capitalise on fast fashion trend.
  • Full 360° hands on delivery on design concept, from initial design direction to prototype product sampling to final presentation in store/online/press launch.
  • Provide extensive knowledge on new design and retail concepts Internationally from London/Paris/Milan/New York/Los Angeles/Tokyo.

 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & POSITIONING

  • Extensive experience on all ares of design,Menswear, Womenswear & Accessories
  • Extensive experience worldwide network of sourcing and manufacturing with business contacts and tproduction
  • provide clear communication on design development with in house teams, mills and product manufacturers
  • Identify & advise early range architecture and balance to clearly translate new design concept
  • Develop "exclusivity" of design, recognising the brand DNA and to enhance and progress forward
  • Advise on branding and positioning of product for final enhancement/presentation
  • Provide new ideas on Fabric innovation and development for the new season.

 

RETAILING & PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

  • Extensive successful retailing experience from UK High St. to European luxury brands, advise on appropriate design & retail strategy.
  • Create and revitalise product offer with new product presentation and proposition with full understanding of retail expectations.
  • Advise on range balance and content to maximise impact of new product development
  • Review presentation of new product development that is relevant for multichannel retailing
  • proposition to be based on commerciality and profitability.

 

PR & MARKETING

  • Review and advise on new Marketing and PR strategies and campaigns to maximise coverage and business opportunities.
  • Provide new creative direction for photoshoot and campaign that communicates the new product development and direction.
  • extensive experience on managing photoshoots, strong network of studios,photographers,models and stylists.
  • Identify and advise appropriate platform to launch new campaign from press launch/online/ publication advertising/fashion event.

 

PRESENTATION & HOSTING

  • Experienced presentation skills on collection launches featured on Television/Radio/Press Conferences.
  • Create & Communicate presentations that are personalised and informative.
  • Advise on presentation that brand specific and appropriate.
  • Multi-event management experience across fashion shows, press events , large forum presentations & brand launches.
  • A network of strong relationships in the media, National & fashion press and the British Fashion Council.

 

PEOPLE

  • Create, build and manage teams of designers to deliver design concepts and products to the highest level.
  • Experienced at supplier management, product development and delivery of newness.
  • Full network of suppliers , from mills to manufacture and working experience from CMT to full-service vendors
  • Introduce extensive international contacts to generate new and exclusive product.
  • Provide clear communication to overseas for office briefings offering clear direction and clarity
